Eire’s Katie Taylor will tackle England’s Chantelle Cameron in Dublin on Might 20 in a bid to develop into the two-weight world champion.
In her first skilled struggle in Eire, Taylor will face welterweight champion Cameron after a scheduled rematch with Amanda Serrano was derailed when the Puerto Rican suffered an damage setback.
Calling out Cameron on Instagram final week, Taylor stated she could be “comfortable to placed on some weight” for the struggle.
Cameron’s undisputed welterweight titles will probably be on the road. The English fighter edged out American Jessica McCaskill to be topped the undisputed 140lbs champion in Abu Dhabi final November.
Taylor edged out Serrano in his final struggle, at a sold-out Madison Sq. Backyard in New York Metropolis final April.
“As soon as Serrano retired, it was the pure struggle to have,” Taylor stated.
“It is two undefeated and undisputed world champions going through one another.
“Folks have been speaking about this struggle for a very long time now so I am thrilled it is occurring and I can not wait to develop into an undisputed two-weight champion in Dublin.”
